Container: ventilation openings
Ventilation openings must not present any fractures or cracks on the non-perforated area; permitted openings are smaller than 10 mm.
Ventilation openings must not be closed. Tapes or similar are to be removed.
Standard freight containers are available as closed freight containers, ventilated containers and open containers.
Closed freight containers can be provided with special weatherproof ventilation grilles in the top and bottom of the side longitudinal beams and the top and bottom of the crossbeams. Enhanced by the natural convection airflow within the freight container, there is a more limited exchange of air and dampness with the surrounding environment.
