Basic requirements

Goods are often transported using more than one mode of transport. The loads for the following modes of transport must be respected:

  • Road transport
  • Rail transport
  • Combination of road/rail with truck on flat wagons
  • Combination of road/rail/ferry
  • Combination of road/rail/ferry/container ship

Important:
The physical loads are different for each mode of transport and must be checked by qualified personnel before carriage. Based on physical estimates, dimensioning of the load securing and the related measurements is required.
