The operators use checklists for monitoring at the airport.
IATA recommended checklists are shown at the very end of the respective regulations.
DG-Reject:
If a shipment does not fulfill all requirements, is refused and the shipper/ freight forwarder is fined.
Check at the airport
- Two copies of the Shipper's Declaration for dangerous goods are enclosed and filled in correctly.
- Quantity of dangerous goods stated on Shipper's Declaration is within the limits per package.
- UN-coding of package is appropriate and permitted by the applicable packing instruction and packing group.
- The packages and overpacks are marked and labelled correctly.
- The packages and enwrappings are in perfect condition.
- The separating regulations of Tab. 9.3.A have been observed.
- The provisions for overpacks for CAO (Cargo Aircraft Only = full-freight aircraft) are fulfilled.
- There are no undeclared goods with hidden dangers.
- The State and operator variations have been observed.
