How to classify?
The classification of dangerous goods - the first step in the dangerous goods process - is conducted according to established criteria from the dangerous goods regulations.

The substances are divided into classes depending on the properties of the material (e.g. flammable). Example: A dangerous material with a flashpoint <= 60°C is assigned to class 3.
