Packaging and labeling of packages
Dangerous goods in limited quantities must be packaged in inner packages placed inside suitable outer packages (see packaging requirements, chapter 6.1.4). The use of intermediate packaging is permitted.
Inner packages that are prone to breaking or that can be easily pierced, such as containers made of glass, porcelain, stoneware, or certain plastics, must be placed inside suitable intermediate packages.
Consignors of dangerous goods packed in limited quantities must provide the carrier with verifiable information regarding the gross weight of the goods to be shipped before the goods are transported.
