Receipt
The consignee:
- Must not delay the acceptance of goods without good reason.
- Must check, after unloading, that the applicable ADR regulations have been complied with.
- Must compare the information in the transport papers with the information on the package, container, tank, or vehicle in order to make sure that the right goods are being unloaded.
- Must check the packages or tanks for damage while unloading them and take appropriate measures so as to ensure that they are safely unloaded.
- Must ensure that the container or vehicle is cleaned (does not apply to tank vehicle and tank containers) and that the hazard labels are removed.
