Note
Overpacks must have the same type of identification marking and labeling as normal packages (except the UN coding of the packaging). In addition, the overpack must bear the text "OVERPACK" or "UMVERPACKUNG". The minimum text size for the print reading "OVERPACK" is 12 mm!
Overpack
An overpack is an enclosure for one or more packages, the aim of which is to make the new unit easier to handle and ship.
Example:
One pallet with multiple packages, which are secured using plastic strapping, shrink wrap or stretch wrap, or some other suitable materials.
