Documents and responsibilities

Each shipment of dangerous goods must be accompanied by a "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods" and an "Air Waybill".
The "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods" form must correspond exactly to
  • a sample of 8.1.7 IATA-DGR,
  • be filled out in English,
  • be filled out in duplicate and signed.
Responsibilities
The shipper is responsible for filling out the prescribed "Shipper's Declaration for Dangerous Goods" form.

For road transportation to the airport, there are two options for documentation:

  • transport papers under 5.4 ADR (see e-learning "Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road") OR
  • a copy of the shipper's declaration with the note "TRANSPORT UNDER PARA. 1.1.4.2.1".
