Straps and hooks
Incorrect: These images show straps not permissible for use - ones which were knotted, have deep cuts or fraying, or with hooks which were not properly attached.
The following is to be followed for straps and hooks:
- Cargo securing straps may not be damaged.
- Straps may not be knotted.
- Hooks must always be loaded at the hook base.
- Straps must always be marked with a label bearing the performance data.
