Classify the dangerous goods in accordance with the dangerous goods regulations (e.g. flash point, boiling point, toxicity, corrosivity, etc.).

Packing

Use UN approved containers of appropriate material, and check the compatibility between the dangerous substance and its packaging.

Filling of tanks

It is the responsibility of the driver and the filler to ensure that dangerous goods are correctly filled.

Marking and labeling

The transport container must be clearly, visibly, and securely labeled with the correct information.

Documenting

The mandatory documents must be prepared for every shipment of goods governed by ADR regulations.

Transport

Transport is to be carried out with a vehicle that has been labeled and fitted in accordance with ADR.

Receipt

The consignee must not delay the acceptance of goods without good reason and, after unloading, must check that the applicable ADR regulations have been complied with.
